Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026

These terms describe how ToMyChild works as a private timeline service for people who love a child — including from a distance — and the responsibilities we share when you use it.

Agreement to terms

By accessing or using ToMyChild ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the Service.

The service

ToMyChild lets parents, grandparents, and wider family create private timelines for children they care about; store memories, messages, photos, and milestones; set unlock dates; invite contributors; and manage access permissions. Public Family Table and Legal desk posts may be processed by AI to generate search keywords — see the Privacy Policy.

Accounts

  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Keep your credentials secure and notify us of unauthorized access
  • Be at least 18 years old, or use the Service with appropriate parental consent where required
  • You are responsible for activity under your account

Content and ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload. By posting, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and invited members. You must have the rights to share what you upload, and you must not post illegal, harmful, or infringing material.

Family use and invitations

Invitations should only go to people you trust. Timeline owners and admins are responsible for the members they add and the permissions they grant. Content may remain visible to members according to roles until access is revoked or the timeline is deleted.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access accounts or timelines without permission
  • Do not misuse the Service for spam, harassment, or unlawful activity
  • Do not reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
  • Respect the privacy of children and other family members represented in timelines

Availability

We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToMyChild is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms; the updated date above will change when we do. Questions? Contact us.
